Drift Craft gathers games that score you on how the car turns, not on how fast it goes in a straight line. Here the car is supposed to lose grip at the right moment, and a body angle that is too shallow costs you as much as one that is too deep. This section is harder to learn than ordinary racing, so we flag the titles with a practice mode against no opponents, where you can repeat a single corner twenty times without losing a position. Every control set has been tried on a touchscreen, and we note whether a handbrake exists as its own button, because without one a drift on a phone turns into a normal turn. If this is your first time in the genre, start with the lowest-scoring title rather than the one that looks the most impressive.
